Child Advocacy Training Class
March 7, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
FreeThe Mission of the Child Advocacy Center of McHenry County is to reduce trauma to child victims of abuse. Kate Webster, Education and Outreach Coordinator, will join us for this free training session to introduce the topics of child sex trafficking and grooming and what signs to look for. She will share real life examples of cases that have come through the CAC, offer resources for parents, and help us gain a better understanding of what happens after a DCFS hotline call or police report is made. All participants must wear a mask while in the library. Free and open to the public, no library card required. Advance registration is required as space is limited. To sign up, please send an email to adultservices@harvard-diggins.org.
