History of the Service Flag

Join us at Harvard Diggins Library with Mark Hutson, author of So Costly a Sacrifice: The Forgotten Story of the Borgstroms. the Only Four-Gold-Star Family of WW2. Mark will discuss the history of service flags given to military families and the fascinating story described in his book. Enjoy a display of a few of many service flags in his personal collection.
