Local resident Barbara Backman will soon release a book titled Capron, Illinois — A Brief History  about the village located west of Harvard, past Chemung. Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Capron and learn of the places and events that helped shape life in a village on the prairie in the late 19th and early part of the 20th century and view historic photographs.
