Minerals, Fossils, & Crystals: Delve Into the Science of Geology and Hobby of Rock Collecting

Before the exhibit leaves the Library, join us with exhibit host Jason Rehorst, Geologist and Paleontologist from the Virtual Museum of Geology to learn about Minerals, Fossils, & Crystals! Learn about the science of Geology and the hobby of rock collecting. Jason will cover the differences between these types of stones, how to build a rock collection, and where you can find fossils in our area. Plus, view some specimens from the presenter! This program is FREE and open to the public, no library card required. Rock enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy this presentation, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
