The John Deere Story

Presenter Ed O’Brien joins us at the Library for a historical impersonation of John Deere, a blacksmith who developed the first commercially successful, self-scouring steel plow in 1837 and founded the company that still bears his name on tractors used in farming today.  This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required as seating is limited.
