The John Deere Story

Presenter Ed O’Brien joins us at the Library for a historical impersonation of John Deere, a blacksmith who developed the first commercially successful, self-scouring steel plow in 1837 and founded the company that still bears his name on tractors used in farming today.  This presentation is free and open to the public.
