Diggins to Writing Club

Join us for writing time on the first and third Monday afternoons of each month. Come sit and push your projects forward, take a moment to discuss issues or gather opinions from a wide range of writers, chat about issues, check in with the group and, of course, get some word sprints done! Push that word count higher or get those edits a bit further along with the support of your fellow writers.

Pre-game chatter and chasing off writer’s block will run from 1 to 1:20 p.m. Starting at 1:20 p.m., we’ll have three 20-minute word sprints with five-minute breaks in between. (For those not familiar with word sprints, it’s when the event host sets a timer for a certain number of minutes and, during that time, everyone tries to quietly write.)

The Diggins to Writing Club is for ages 16 and up. We meet in the Burbank Room the first and third Mondays of each month. This event is free and open to the public; no library card is needed. Advanced registration is required.
