Homegrown National Park

June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Did you know planting native flora and removing invasive species can make you a part of the Homegrown National Park movement? On Monday, June 16, at 6 p.m., learn about this nationwide call-to-action with a short film, “What’s the Rush?” by renowned conservationist Doug Tallamy. A presentation and Q&A will follow with a local pollinator expert from one of the many McHenry County conservation organizations co-sponsoring this event at regional libraries during Pollinator Week, June 16-22. Attendees can enter a native plant raffle at the end. This event is free and open to the public; no library card needed. Registration is required. RSVP by filling out the form below.
